Creational guardianship is one of the most comprehensive virtues of the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) and has a deeper meaning than creational possessions, and explaining its foundations and understanding its truth is a way to recognize the position of man in the universe and reach the truth of monotheism. This research, using a descriptive-analytical method, has compared and explained the main basis of the creational guardianship of the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) from the perspective of Mulla Sadra and Majlisi with the aim of proving their intellectual convergence and the healthy combination of reason and narration on this issue. Based on the findings of the research, Sadra and Majlisi agree that closeness to God Almighty, meaning the path of human existence to its highest level, is the main basis of creational guardianship, and the highest level of divine closeness is specific to the Ahl al-Bayt, and based on that, they are the mediators of all divine blessings; they are the mediators in the arc of descent in creation. This mediation is acceptable based on longitudinal agency and on the basis of manifestation, and is also necessary based on the principle of similarity in causes. And in the ascending arc as the final cause, they are capable of completing souls. In the world of nature, for the coordination of creation and legislation, their elemental existence as the Imam of humans is necessary, and the great intercession is also specific to them. But the difference between Sadra and Majlisi is only in the presentation of the contents; in summary and detail.
