Explaining the theory of Sadr al-Mutalihin in the face of the doctrine of raj'ah

Abstract

The subject of the present research is titled Explanation of Mulla Sadra's Theory in the Face of Return and with the aim of clarifying this issue, what explanation Mulla Sadra has of return and how he solves it? The method of collecting information is library and the method of processing materials and information is descriptive and analytical, which helped us in finding the answer to the aforementioned question. We have come to the conclusion that Mulla Sadra believes in the face of the doctrine of return that return is different from reincarnation. Mulla Sadra provides evidence for the rational possibility of return and claims that perfect souls are not captive to a homeland due to the authority and life they have and that there is a possibility of their return to the world. He also considers the emergence of truth and monotheistic religion in the world by perfect souls as evidence for the necessity of return. Regarding the manner in which souls return to the world in the form of return, he also emphasizes the return of souls in the form of the same material body.
