Guidelines for Article Preparation and Acceptance Conditions for the Journal of Kalam Research
A) General Guidelines
- The submitted article must be based on research and include the author's original and innovative results.
- The article should not have been published in another journal previously and should not be submitted simultaneously to other journals.
- The accuracy of the content is the responsibility of the author(s).
- If the article has more than one author, the corresponding author must be specified.
- The article file must be submitted in Word format solely through the journal's website.
- The journal has the freedom to edit articles.
B) Article Preparation Guidelines
- The abstract of the article should be prepared and submitted in both Persian and English, with a minimum of 150 words and a maximum of 250 words, along with keywords.
- The length of the article should be no less than 6000 words and no more than 8000 words.
- Direct quotes longer than 40 words should be indented by 1.5 cm on both sides and placed in quotation marks, while direct quotes shorter than 40 words should be indicated within the text using quotation marks.
- Explanations within the text should be provided as footnotes.
- Main headings (font size 12) and subheadings (font size 11) should be numbered.
C) Referencing
- All references should be cited in the text as follows: (Author's Last Name, Year of Publication: Page Number), for example: (Hosseini, 1385: 125) or (Wright, 1998: 250). If an author has multiple works published in the same year, letters should be used after the publication year to distinguish them.
- If the number of authors exceeds two, the first author's name is followed by "et al." In English references, use "et al." For example: (Mohammadi et al., 1382: 87) and (Wright et al., 1998: 34).
- If more than one source is cited in the text, the names and publication years should be separated by semicolons, as in: (Hosseini, 1385: 25; Najafi et al., 1392: 16).
- If a source is cited multiple times, the author's name and publication year must be mentioned each time, and the term "same" should not be used.
- The English equivalents of specialized terms and other necessary explanations should be numbered as footnotes at the bottom of the same page.
D) References List
The references list at the end of the article should be written as follows:
- Book
- Last Name, First Name. (Year of Publication). *Title of the Book* (in italics). Place of Publication: Publisher, Edition.
Note: Commas, periods, parentheses, and colons must be exactly as shown above.
- Article
- Last Name, First Name. (Date of Publication). Title of the Article. *Name of the Journal* (in italics). Volume (Issue Number): Page Range of the Article.
- Online Source
- Last Name, First Name. (Year of Publication if available). Title of the Article or Content. Title of the Website if available. Retrieved on [Date], from: Complete Website Address.

Authors intending to submit articles derived from their theses should ensure that the names of the supervising and advising professors are mentioned in the author information section and file submission. Articles should not be submitted without coordination with the professors, and the corresponding author must be the supervising professor. Additionally, if the article is the result of a research project or funded by an institution, this should be explicitly mentioned in the author information.
Review and Publication Fees
The fees for review, editing, and publication will be collected after acceptance.
